Meet Dick Head
While writing, A Penis Manologue, I tried to think of a symbol that would show a man’s conflict between his big brain (the one in his head) and his small brain (the one in his pants). In modern society we don’t even like to say the word penis. Phallus is used in place of penis. I figured a plain penis sculpture would be considered obscene by some, and two would border on pornography. I thought about it and decided that brains belong in a head, and penises love head, so I wanted to make a sculpture portraying the two brains as penises. As a piece of art work it couldn’t be easily dismissed as pornographic. Once I completed the head and searched my brain for a name, the only one that seemed suitable was, Dick Head. |
